Swiss Alain Silberstein is not a company with hundreds of years of watch making tradition behind them; in fact the exact opposite could be said with the company only founded in the late 1980s. The production of the watches and quality of the build has become paramount to the success of the watch company; all of the brands are superbly created including the tourbillion, perpetual calandar and the sports chronograph. One of the most distinctive characteristics of the watches is the transparent backs that allow the movements to be visible to the owner and allow visibility to the exceptionally high quality build. The collection has been steadily growing since the inception of the company and over time the designs have become increasingly more flamboyant. The steel and titanium watches were some of the early ones to be added to the collection and these include the Bolido and Pave ranges. 2008 has seen the emergence of a new range of watches which encompass all of the heritage and history of the company, the Black Marine Krono is the latest addition with a Black PVD titanium case, Valjoux 7751 movements and water resistance to 20 bars, the watch is one for the twenty first century.
